We’re hiring our first Customer Success leader—a hands-on professional who will manage retention, optimization, and revenue growth across our enterprise clients. As the founding member of the Customer Success team, you’ll build strong client relationships and lay the groundwork for a department you’ll eventually lead. This role is ideal for someone with a builder’s mindset, who thrives in a consultative enterprise environment, can advise C-level executives, and has the strategic vision to scale a world-class Customer Success function.
What you’ll do:
Revenue Growth, Retention, and Expansion
– Own net dollar retention (NDR) and gross written premium (GWP) targets for existing clients
– Drive revenue through program optimization and account management
– Identify and execute growth opportunities within your accounts
– Lead upselling efforts by introducing new products and services
Program Success & Adoption
– Guide new programs to ensure fast adoption and measurable success
– Work closely with partners to reach a point of significant revenue and regulatory complexity that ensures long-term retention
– Act as the strategic advisor and main point of contact to help clients optimize their insurance programs
Customer Engagement
– Maintain direct relationships with C-suite executives at enterprise accounts
– Balance client needs with Sure’s business goals
– Become a trusted expert and extension of each client’s team
Foundation Building & Process Development
– Develop scalable playbooks for account growth and expansion
– Document best practices and processes to serve as team standards
– Build foundational workflows and systems to support future growth
– Collaborate with leadership to define KPIs and reporting based on real-world results
What we’re looking for:
– 10+ years in customer success, account management, or similar roles, managing complex enterprise accounts
– 3+ years of experience building and leading customer success teams from the ground up
– Proven track record in driving revenue growth and client retention
– Experience scaling Customer Success teams from 1 to 10+ people
– Comfortable with tough conversations and decision-making
– Skilled in consultative selling and solution-based strategies
– Deep understanding of SaaS metrics like NDR, GRR, and NPS
– A self-starter who can balance long-term vision with immediate priorities
