Hi, I’m Avery, the Founder and CEO of Bloom. We’re a workplace consultancy that collaborates with founder-led, growing small to mid-sized companies that are bold enough to prioritize strong people systems from the start. Our clients understand that inclusive, high-performing workplaces don’t happen by chance—they’re committed and care deeply, but aren’t quite ready for a full-time HR hire.
That’s where you come in.
We’re hiring for a contract position (3–4 days per week) where you’ll serve as a fractional HR partner for one of our clients. You’ll help design and implement people systems that lay the groundwork for thriving, high-performing cultures. This role combines meaningful, strategic work with hands-on day-to-day responsibilities, all with the support of the Bloom collective behind you.
Who We Are
Bloom isn’t your typical HR consultancy. We work with founder-led, purpose-driven companies that have made the smart decision to invest in their people early. Our clients—typically businesses with 10–150 employees—know that building intentional, inclusive cultures takes effort and expertise.
They’re committed to creating strong, scalable people systems that reflect their values, but don’t yet need a full-time HR team member. What they need is a trusted partner to help them build it right from the beginning.
That’s where we come in.
We embed as fractional HR and DEI partners, offering leadership coaching, HR advisory, recruitment support, and hands-on help building inclusive policies, systems, and processes. Whether it’s helping with a first hire, crafting progressive policies, or guiding a founder through a complex team issue—we’re there, doing the work that shapes human-first, high-performing workplaces.
We don’t believe in quick fixes or corporate buzzwords. We believe in co-creating better workplaces with bold leaders who want to do things differently.
