WHAT YOU’LL BE WORKING ON:

– Modern Web App: Enhance our responsive web app, tackling challenges like real-time updates, offline functionality, and performance scaling.
– Ownership: Take full responsibility for what you build—from design to deployment, including testing and monitoring.
– Architecture & Scale: Use solid design principles and customer insights to choose the best technologies for scalable solutions.
– Development: Write clean, maintainable code, follow best practices, and mentor your teammates.
– Quality: Contribute to a high-performing team that prioritizes both innovation and quality.

EXCITING PROJECTS YOU’LL WORK ON:

– Implementing API calls using a Stale-While-Revalidate approach for fast, offline-capable data access
– Using Redux with dynamic reducers
– Building a React-based page builder that generates API-integrated components
– Adding engagement tools like chat, group discussions, 1:1 video calls, and breakout rooms

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

– 7+ years of experience developing large-scale or fast-growing products
– 3+ years of experience with JavaScript/TypeScript and deep knowledge of the React ecosystem
– Strong problem-solving and architectural skills
– Comfortable working with large codebases
– Experience with RESTful APIs
– Proficient in JSX, ES2020+, HTML, and CSS
– Familiar with design systems like Material UI or Ant Design
– Advocate for best practices and performance optimization
– Experience with testing tools like Jest and React Testing Library
– Able to independently debug complex codebases
– Strong written and verbal communication skills
– Knowledge of SOLID principles, domain modeling, and design patterns is a plus
– Ability to mentor and guide team members technically

BONUS SKILLS:

– Experience with TypeScript and strongly typed React components/hooks
– Familiarity with React-Query or similar libraries
– Experience developing mobile apps using Capacitor, Cordova, or React Native
– Knowledge of Docker, AWS, and CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions

WHAT EVENTMOBI OFFERS:

– Compensation: Base salary between $55,000–$65,000 CAD, based on experience
