About AirDNA

AirDNA was created to address a key challenge: how to make informed decisions in the short-term rental market when reliable data is hard to find. What began in a California garage in 2015 has grown into a global company supporting everyone from new hosts to large real estate firms in making smart investment choices, setting competitive prices, and scaling their businesses.

Our goal is simple — to empower people to achieve financial freedom through short-term rentals. Whether you’re buying your first Airbnb or managing a growing portfolio, we’re here to help you succeed.

We monitor over 10 million listings across 120,000 markets, and our platform is trusted by users in more than 100 countries. We turn big data into actionable insights.

In 2023, AirDNA acquired Uplisting, a robust property management tool that helps hosts and operators manage listings on platforms like Airbnb and Vrbo. With features such as channel management, automated messaging, dynamic pricing, task coordination, and financial reporting, Uplisting enhances our ability to support users at every stage of their short-term rental journey — from investment to daily operations.

The AirDNA Team

We’re a passionate, driven, and supportive team that loves what we do. Our core values — Happy, Hungry, Honest — shape how we interact with each other and our customers.

We welcome applicants from all backgrounds and encourage you to apply even if you don’t meet every requirement. We value passion, potential, and diverse perspectives.

– Represent engineering: Lead technical planning, roadmap discussions, and cross-team initiatives.

What You’ll Need

– 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 5+ years with React and TypeScript.
– Deep frontend expertise: Experience scaling SPAs, optimizing performance, and ensuring accessibility and design accuracy.
– Full-stack skills: Comfortable working with backend technologies like Python, Django/FastAPI, AWS, and data pipelines.
– Leadership: Proven ability to lead technical discussions and influence architecture decisions.
– Mentorship: Passion for helping others grow and providing constructive feedback.
