Everly Health is dedicated to transforming lives through modern, diagnostics-based care, with a belief that the future of healthcare lies in meeting people where they are. Based in Austin, Texas, Everly Health is the parent company of Everlywell, Everly Health Solutions, and Everly Diagnostics. We’ve redefined care by focusing on people and diagnostics, placing patients at the heart of their health journey.

Our comprehensive infrastructure supports the entire testing process, backed by a nationwide network of clinicians including doctors, nurses, genetic counselors, pharmacists, and care specialists. Our solutions bring high-quality virtual care within reach, using rigorous clinical standards and top-tier science to address major challenges in healthcare.

We are dedicated to guiding individuals through the landscape of consumer-initiated genetic testing.

We are currently seeking a dynamic and passionate genetic counselor to provide telehealth consultations (via phone or video), patient outreach, and test order reviews for a range of indications such as hereditary cancer risk, cardiogenetics, rare diseases, early cancer detection (liquid biopsy), and pharmacogenetics. While most consultations focus on discussing results from consumer-initiated testing, some traditional pre- and post-test counseling is also involved. This is a contract role requiring 10–20 hours of service per week.

The contractor will be responsible for 10–20 hours of weekly services, including:

– Conducting genetic counseling sessions via phone or video for various indications
– Preparing consultation summary reports for patient records
– Using medical literature to analyze genetic conditions for personalized care
– Reviewing genetic test orders to ensure they are appropriate
– Making outreach calls to gather personal and family history and explain testing limitations when needed
– Helping maintain up-to-date support resources in line with evolving testing and medical guidelines

Who You Are:

– ABGC Board-certified with a Master’s degree in Medical Genetics, Human Genetics, or Genetic Counseling from an accredited program
– Based in the United States
– Minimum of two years of clinical genetic counseling experience
– Open to providing counseling across all indications

Preferred Qualifications:

– Active state licensure is a plus, but not required
– Spanish fluency is a plus
– Experience or interest in cancer and/or pharmacogenetics is preferred, including willingness to serve as a clinical lead in these specialties
