We’re hiring a Head of Communications to lead Sword Health’s global communications strategy, including public relations, corporate messaging, executive visibility, crisis response, and internal communications. Reporting to the VP and Head of CEO Office, this role will help shape Sword’s voice, enhance our brand reputation, and share our story with members, employers, media, partners, and the healthcare industry.

What you’ll do:

– Develop and lead Sword Health’s global communications strategy across earned, owned, and shared media.
– Partner with the CEO to manage all external communications, including media outreach, press releases, and storytelling.
– Handle crisis communications and sensitive reputation matters, offering strategic guidance to executives.
– Work with leadership to build their public presence through speaking opportunities, awards, articles, and interviews.
– Create internal communications that engage and align employees with Sword’s mission and values.
– Collaborate with Marketing, Brand, Product, Legal, and People teams to ensure consistent messaging.
– Oversee PR agencies and external partners to ensure alignment with business goals.
– Track and report on communication efforts and brand perception.

What you’ll need:

– 8+ years of communications experience, including leading global strategies in fast-growing tech or healthcare companies.
– Strong background in media relations, crisis management, executive and internal communications.
– Proven ability to secure impactful media coverage and shape brand narratives.
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas.
– Experience working closely with C-suite executives and influencing across all levels.
– Comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
– Sound judgment, discretion, and a proactive attitude.
