Job Summary

Welocalize is offering an excellent opportunity for those who enjoy working at the intersection of language and technology. We are looking for a Localization QA Tester / Proofreader with native-level Greek fluency and strong technical abilities.

In this position, you will test various applications and tools, follow test cases, identify localization issues, and report them through our internal bug-tracking system. You will also confirm fixes once they are completed.

This is a remote, part-time role with a fixed-term contract that may be extended. The schedule is 20 hours per week, with 4-hour daily shifts to be determined.

Key Responsibilities

• Test web-based systems and applications on Mac OS X and iOS
• Execute test cases and scripts to ensure accurate localization
• Identify, report, and monitor localization issues using an internal bug-tracking tool
• Verify fixes and ensure both linguistic and functional quality
• Prioritize linguistic issues and differentiate between major and minor problems
• Clearly document and communicate steps to reproduce issues
• Work collaboratively with diverse teams in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in Greek
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Experience in translation, localization, or linguistic QA
• Strong technical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Familiarity with bug-tracking systems and test execution
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Capacity to work under pressure in a dynamic environment
• Must be legally located in the country specified in the job posting
