About the Role
As a Copywriter, you will create content for pharmaceutical brand communications aimed at healthcare professionals and patients. You’ll be responsible for drafting and revising materials based on feedback from internal teams and client stakeholders, including marketing and regulatory departments. Your work will be grounded in scientific and medical information, requiring accurate referencing and annotations. You’ll need to tailor your writing style to suit different audiences and maintain consistency across various projects and formats. Strong time management, organization, and collaboration skills are essential. As part of the Creative Team, you’ll contribute to brainstorming and concept development aligned with brand strategy and present your work to stakeholders. Your role will be key in shaping impactful healthcare content.
What You’ll Do
– Write content based on project briefs for various media and audiences
– Manage content throughout the project lifecycle
– Apply strong grammar skills and knowledge of AMA style
– Collaborate with art directors, writers, editors, and other team members
– Present your work effectively
– Accurately annotate manuscripts to support claims with references
– Address feedback from internal teams and clients
– Work within established processes and manage multiple projects simultaneously
– Meet project deadlines
– Continuously learn and grow individually and as part of the team
– Bring creativity and motivation to help the team deliver compelling healthcare communications that support HCPs and patients
About You
– Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Advertising, or a related field, or 2+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
– Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare copywriting is required
– Portfolio or writing samples required (include a link in your resume)
– Experience in an advertising agency or similar in-house marketing environment preferred
– Proficiency in writing across multiple media formats
– Comfortable working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 per year
