As a Home Delivery Driver at Mom’s Meals, you’ll play a key role in making sure our customers receive their weekly meals. Your responsibilities will include loading and unloading prepackaged meal boxes from cold storage and delivering them to customers’ homes. Timely deliveries and outstanding customer service are essential and reflect the core values of Mom’s Meals.

Schedule: Four-day workweek, Tuesday through Friday
Pay: $18.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

– Operate company vehicles safely and follow all traffic laws
– Load meals from designated cold storage into the company vehicle
– Deliver meals to clients, often bringing them inside their homes
– Contact clients by phone if delivery issues arise or as needed
– Accurately log deliveries using the MMHD delivery app
– Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures
– Provide excellent customer service at all times
– Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure safe operation
– Report any vehicle or equipment issues to a supervisor promptly
– Assist with vehicle and driver inspections
– Ensure all deliveries follow company protocols

Required Qualifications:

– Must be 18 years or older
– High school diploma or GED
– Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
– Strong communication skills and proficiency in English
– Able to operate a smartphone and follow GPS directions
– Basic math skills
– Comfortable driving in various weather and traffic conditions
– Experience following company policies and values
– Must pass a drug screening, background check, and MVR check after job offer

Preferred Qualifications:

– Previous experience in delivery roles

Physical Requirements:

– Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
– Capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 40 lbs
– Good vision, including peripheral and depth perception
– Able to perform repetitive tasks
– Comfortable working in varying temperatures (hot and cold)
