Incident Manager – Based in Cyprus, Greece, or Remote

About the Role:
We’re looking for a proactive and driven Incident Manager to join our rapidly expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on solving problems and delivering results. As a key member of our established Group, you will manage and oversee the entire incident resolution process, acting as the central point of contact during incidents. Your role will involve ensuring effective communication, coordination, and timely resolution of issues.

Working closely with our skilled IT teams and key stakeholders, you will help protect our business operations and services by minimizing the impact of incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

– Act as the main contact for production incidents and service disruptions
– Lead and coordinate the incident response process to ensure efficient and timely resolution
– Manage communication during incidents, including updates to stakeholders
– Prioritize and escalate incidents based on severity and urgency
– Conduct post-incident reviews and implement improvements to prevent recurrence
– Analyze incident trends and suggest enhancements to the incident management process
– Provide training and support on incident management to IT teams and stakeholders
– Participate in an on-call rotation as needed

Key Requirements:

– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related field
– Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
– Familiarity with incident monitoring and response tools (e.g., PagerDuty, NewRelic, Zabbix, Elastic)
– Solid understanding of incident management practices and procedures
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on identifying root causes
– Ability to perform well under pressure and manage multiple incidents simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

– Certifications such as ITIL Foundation or Certified Incident Manager (CIM)
– Knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems, networks, and applications
– Experience in Problem Management
