About the Role
We’re looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to design, automate, and maintain a reliable IT infrastructure. You’ll be responsible for ensuring system availability, security, and performance using modern automation techniques. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Linux systems, scripting, automation, and resolving complex technical issues. You’ll be instrumental in maintaining system uptime, applying security best practices, improving performance, and supporting a collaborative team of software and systems engineers.

Key Responsibilities

– Build and manage Linux-based systems, including physical and virtual servers, virtualization platforms, and storage solutions
– Oversee both on-premise and cloud infrastructure (VMware, AWS)
– Create automation scripts using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools to develop scalable and automated Linux systems and cloud environments
– Design and implement high-availability, self-healing infrastructure components
– Provide expert support for escalated technical incidents
– Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation

Qualifications

– 5+ years of hands-on experience managing Linux systems in a production setting
– Strong understanding of Linux core concepts, including filesystems, process scheduling, and virtual memory
– Advanced knowledge of virtualization platforms like vCenter
– Solid grasp of TCP/IP networking and addressing
– Proficiency in using HTTP APIs with languages like Python, Golang, or similar
– Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible
– Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform
– Knowledge of monitoring, metrics, and visualization platforms

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $135,000 to $145,000 per year. Final compensation will be based on factors such as education, experience, skills, internal equity, and market data. Business Wire may adjust this range at its discretion.
