The Intermediate QA Analyst role is a one-year contract position, working closely with the Delivery team to ensure successful implementation of product updates. This role involves daily collaboration with implementation project managers.
Responsibilities:
– Identify and automate critical, repetitive test scenarios, and manage their execution and upkeep.
– Collaborate with the team to triage and resolve bugs promptly, fostering a quality-first mindset.
– Develop and execute test plans across multiple projects, document outcomes, and help identify root causes.
– Understand project goals, customer context, and use cases.
– Work with teammates to deliver high-quality software that meets client needs.
– Propose improvements to software quality through manual and automated testing strategies, performance testing, and more.
– Ensure requirements are testable and delivered solutions are consistent and complete by working closely with customers and team members.
– Participate in standups and planning meetings, contribute to risk analysis, and help resolve issues.
– Gain in-depth knowledge of Smile Digital Health’s technical features to support QA planning.
– Mentor new team members.
– Ensure accurate time tracking in Netsuite, with a focus on billable hours and proper use of project management tools.
– Accurate tracking of billable hours is essential for project delivery and client satisfaction.
Requirements:
– At least 5 years of experience in software testing.
– Experience with automated testing tools is a plus, especially given the technical nature of our products.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and prioritization abilities.
– Proven ability to work collaboratively with teams, stakeholders, and clients.
– Sound judgment in escalating issues when necessary.
– Experience with electronic health records or systems integration is an asset.
– Familiarity with REST API and web application testing using tools like Postman.
– A completed undergraduate degree in Health Informatics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.
