Role Overview – Senior Specialist, Internal Communications:

We’re looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Senior Specialist of Internal Communications to enhance our internal messaging and engagement within the Product & Technology team. You’ll design and execute communication strategies that align with business goals, support change initiatives, and strengthen employee connection to Coupa’s mission and values.

Key Responsibilities:

– Serve as a communications advisor to the Chief Product & Technology Officer and leadership team.
– Offer strategic guidance on messaging, timing, and channels to boost employee engagement and understanding.
– Collaborate with HR, the P&T Business Director, and cross-functional leaders to align communication efforts.
– Create and manage internal communication strategies that support company goals and culture.
– Develop messaging for leadership communications, including town halls, announcements, and organizational updates.
– Oversee internal communication platforms such as intranet, Slack, newsletters, and events.
– Coordinate with the Internal Communications team on messaging and campaign planning.
– Work with Corporate Communications to ensure consistency and maximize impact.
– Introduce innovative formats like microlearning and concise updates to keep content engaging.
– Evaluate communication effectiveness through feedback, analytics, and surveys.
– Stay informed on best practices and trends in internal communications and employee engagement.

What You’ll Bring:

– Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
– 3–5 years of experience in internal or corporate communications.
– Demonstrated success managing complex communication projects and driving change.
– Excellent writing, editing, and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
– Proficiency with digital communication tools and platforms.
– Ability to collaborate across departments and with senior leaders.
– Strong interpersonal skills and a team-oriented mindset.
