Role Summary

We are looking for a freelance specialist to support our Paid Media team. In this role, you will serve as a key advisor on Paid Media strategies (including Paid Search and Paid Social) for the Japanese market.

The project requires approximately 5–10 hours of work per month, depending on client needs. You will collaborate with our centralized media team, offering local market insights and expertise across various media platforms.

Your responsibilities will include working with internal teams, sharing market benchmarks and insights, providing best practices and strategic advice, structuring accounts, conducting keyword research, suggesting optimizations, and occasionally joining client calls.

Main Responsibilities

– Provide guidance on Paid Search and Paid Social best practices specific to the Japanese market
– Share insights, benchmarks, and strategic recommendations with the Paid Media team
– Collaborate with the internal team to define optimization strategies
– Perform keyword research and assist in campaign creation across multiple paid media platforms
– Participate in relevant client and team meetings
– Help establish success metrics for campaigns

Requirements

– Ideally 3–4 years of hands-on experience with Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta, and LinkedIn Ads
– Strong knowledge of Japanese advertising platforms
– Experience managing B2B advertising accounts
– Proven ability to plan, execute, and optimize paid media campaigns
– Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
– Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a plus
– Native-level Japanese fluency and deep understanding of Japanese culture
