About the Role
As a Data Coordinator at Curate, you’ll be part of a small, skilled team focused on gathering, verifying, and organizing data from municipal meetings. Your work will help clients stay informed about important developments in city and county governments. You’ll review excerpts from meeting agendas and minutes, assess their relevance to client interests, and gain expertise across various topics. You’re a proactive, accountable individual who can manage tasks independently while collaborating with your team. You think critically and are eager to suggest improvements that enhance team performance.

Curate enables businesses to efficiently track risks and uncover opportunities using municipal data at scale. We scan thousands of local government websites to find agendas and minutes where decisions impacting our clients are made.

About You
You’re a self-starter with strong technical skills who excels in independent work and thrives in collaborative settings. You’re eager to learn how technology works from the ground up and enjoy solving problems that benefit the broader team.

Salary Range: $40,000 – $45,000

What You’ll Do

– Verify the accuracy of data
– Categorize information based on specific criteria
– Collaborate with the team and clients to enhance data quality
– Report data and tool-related issues
– Suggest improvements to data and processes
– Work with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy
– Participate in regular data quality reviews
– Continuously develop new skills as you grow with the team
– Work primarily during Central Time Zone business hours, with some flexibility

What Makes You a Great Fit

– Preferably 1 year of experience in data review (not required)
– Quick to learn and adapt to new software
– Strong problem-solving and time management abilities
– Self-driven and resourceful
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
