We’re looking for contributors to help create accurate, high-quality transcripts from audio recordings. Your role will involve carefully listening to audio and converting spoken Kannada into clearly written, properly formatted text. This work plays a key role in training AI systems by providing reliable data for speech recognition models.

Responsibilities:

– Transcribe all spoken content in Kannada from audio recordings with accuracy
– Add speaker labels, timestamps, and follow required formatting
– Maintain correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation
– Adhere to specific transcription guidelines and style instructions

Requirements:

– Native-level fluency in Kannada
– Strong understanding of the language used in the recordings and proficiency in English to follow instructions
– Excellent listening skills and attention to detail
– Prior experience with transcription tools or platforms is a plus
– Ability to understand various accents and speech patterns is beneficial

Payment Details:

– Compensation is $24.00 per audio hour
– On average, contributors transcribe 5 minutes of audio per working hour, which equates to around $2.00/hour
– Payment is based on the total duration of audio transcribed, not the number of hours worked. Actual earnings vary depending on speed and accuracy

This is a project-based role with CrowdGen, where you’ll work as an Independent Contractor. If selected, you’ll receive an email to create a CrowdGen account using your application email. You’ll need to log in, reset your password, complete the setup steps, and continue with your application for this project.
