As a Senior Analyst in KYC Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing the effective execution of KYC procedures while ensuring regulatory compliance. You will manage complex cases, meet service level agreements (SLAs), and contribute to process enhancements. Your duties will include reviewing high-risk client files, updating workflows, and addressing team knowledge gaps through training. You’ll also support onboarding, participate in projects, test new tools, and collaborate with teams such as Go-to-Market, Product, and Compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Operations & Risk Management:
– Analyze complex client profiles, including high-risk accounts, ensuring smooth KYC operations and escalation of critical cases.
– Stay informed on regulatory changes and internal policies to ensure compliance.

Team Support & Coordination:
– Work closely with the Team Leader to manage KYC processes like onboarding, periodic reviews, and monitoring, ensuring SLA compliance.

Process & Knowledge Development:
– Evaluate and mitigate customer-related risks through strong KYC controls.
– Update operational procedures and address team knowledge gaps through training and support.
– Mentor junior analysts and facilitate knowledge sharing across teams, especially with Go-to-Market.

Project & Tool Implementation:
– Contribute to projects, report progress, and lead tool testing before rollout.
– Ensure smooth onboarding and training for new team members.

Reporting & Communication:
– Provide regular updates to the Team Leader on operations and projects to support decision-making.

Stakeholder Collaboration:
– Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align KYC processes with company goals and ensure effective communication.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience & Background:
– 3–5 years of experience in KYC/KYB, compliance, or banking operations.
– Expertise in regulatory compliance and risk management.
– Proven ability to handle complex and high-risk client files.
– Experience in KYB roles within a B2B setting.

Technical Skills:
– Strong knowledge of KYC/AML-FT regulations and compliance standards.
– Familiarity with compliance tools (ComplyAdvantage preferred).
– Skilled in risk assessment and recommending mitigation strategies.
– Experience in updating and improving operational processes.

Leadership & Training:
– Experience mentoring junior team members and delivering training.
– Project management skills for tool implementation.
– Ability to coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders.

Core Competencies:

– Self-sufficient and able to work under pressure.
– Customer-focused while ensuring compliance.
– Strong problem-solving and escalation skills.
– Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple complex cases.

– Fluent in both French and English.
