Role: Manager, Community Engagement & Growth (Influenster)

Influenster is looking for a strategic and dynamic Manager of Community Engagement & Growth to lead and enhance our key member-facing functions. This role is vital for driving growth, engagement, and satisfaction within the Influenster app. You will oversee a talented team responsible for paid marketing, email marketing, content/design, member support, and social media, ensuring a seamless and impactful user experience.

You are a natural leader with expertise in digital marketing, community engagement, and customer experience. You thrive in fast-paced environments and use data to guide strategy and improve performance across multiple channels.

Key Responsibilities

– Lead and mentor a cross-functional team spanning paid marketing, email, content/design, member support, and social media. Foster a collaborative, high-performing culture.
– Drive user acquisition through paid marketing campaigns aimed at growing the member base and increasing app downloads. Optimize targeting, channels, and creative assets to meet growth goals.
– Enhance user engagement by leading email and push notification strategies to boost weekly active users and app participation. Implement segmentation and messaging strategies to drive in-app actions.
– Oversee content/design to ensure the creation of engaging, on-brand assets for the app, marketing campaigns, and social media. Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual identity.
– Ensure member satisfaction by guiding the support team to provide timely and empathetic responses. Use support data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
– Grow Influenster’s social media presence by directing content strategies for Instagram and TikTok. Drive community engagement and brand awareness.
– Align strategies across all functions to deliver a cohesive user journey from acquisition to engagement and support.
– Define and track KPIs across all areas. Use insights to optimize performance, test new ideas, and refine existing strategies.
– Collaborate with product, engineering, and other internal teams to represent community needs and align on user-impacting initiatives.
– Stay current on industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies in digital marketing and community management.

Qualifications

– Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
– 10+ years of experience in digital marketing or community management, with at least 4 years in a leadership role managing multiple functions.
– Proven track record in user acquisition, engagement, and support within a B2C mobile app or digital product. Experience with Meta, TikTok, Apple, or Google ads is a plus.
– Strong knowledge of paid marketing, email platforms, and push notification strategies (Braze experience preferred).
– Experience in content strategy, design oversight, and social media management.
– Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
– Highly analytical and data-driven, with the ability to turn insights into strategy.
– Comfortable in a fast-paced, evolving tech environment.
– Passionate about community building and delivering great user experiences.
– Experience with Mixpanel, Appsflyer, Zendesk, and persona research is required or preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

– Experience with influencer marketing or user-generated content platforms.
– Familiarity with the Influenster app and community.

Compensation

$120,000 – $140,000 per year
