We’re seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-focused Licensing & Permitting Coordinator to join our team at our headquarters in Center City, Philadelphia. This full-time position is perfect for someone early in their career—whether a recent graduate or someone looking to transition into the construction and development field—who’s excited to gain hands-on experience in permitting, compliance, and operations.
In this role, you’ll manage day-to-day licensing and permitting for our existing locations and assist in securing permits for new bakery openings. You’ll work closely with our Construction and Facilities teams and collaborate with various departments and external partners to keep projects on track and ensure compliance with regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
– Manage and monitor business licenses, health permits, and regulatory filings across all bakery locations
– Coordinate permit processes for new store openings, working with internal teams and external partners
– Collaborate with CSC Global to ensure timely and accurate submissions
– Work with District Managers, Regional Directors, and subject matter experts to collect and submit necessary documentation
– Communicate with local and state agencies to track application progress, resolve issues, and maintain compliance
– Maintain organized records, including renewal calendars, permit logs, and compliance updates
– Provide administrative support to the Construction and Facilities teams (e.g., document management, vendor coordination, reporting)
– Implement regular reporting and escalation procedures to ensure timely compliance
Preferred Skills & Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Business, Public Administration, Urban Planning, Project Management, or a related field
– Experience in administrative, operational, permitting, or regulatory roles (internships and part-time roles are welcome)
– Strong organizational and time management skills with excellent attention to detail
– Clear and effective written and verbal communication
– Ability to manage multiple tasks independently in a fast-paced setting
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and project management tools
– Interest in foodservice, retail, or construction/development is a plus
