Project Overview:

Become part of a dynamic team of Hogan experts working on change initiatives within the Hogan platform at one of Australia’s major banks. To qualify, you must have over three years of hands-on experience in Hogan development, specifically in the Loans System module (ILP / ILS).

You’ll collaborate within Agile squads under the client’s guidance, focusing on change-related tasks. Additionally, you’ll conduct production verification testing for the code you develop during release cycles. Strong knowledge of mainframe environments, including COBOL, JCL, and IMS, is highly beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

– Develop technical design documents
– Design, code, and test data conversions
– Code and perform unit testing for customizations
– Design, code, and test system interfaces
– Configure system settings
– Contribute to business requirements and design documentation as needed
– Support system and user acceptance testing

Required Skills:

– At least 6 years of experience in mainframe technologies such as COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2, IMS, and tools like Expeditor, Endevor, and File-Aid
– Minimum of 3 years of experience with Hogan, specifically in the Loans System (ILS / ILP)
– Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a team
– Solid understanding of the banking sector and Hogan systems
– Highly organized and disciplined work style
– Proactive, eager to learn, and adaptable

Preferred Skills:

– Experience with DevOps practices
– Strong verbal and written communication skills
