We are currently hiring an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Infrastructure Platform team. This role involves overseeing a group of SRE-focused engineers to build secure, scalable, and reliable infrastructure that boosts developer productivity, reduces operational overhead, and enhances system reliability. You will collaborate with engineering, product, and security teams to shape the long-term platform strategy, modernize CI/CD processes, manage cloud infrastructure costs, and reinforce compliance and governance. This leadership position requires strong technical expertise and proven people management skills to ensure successful adoption of platform initiatives across the organization.

Responsibilities:

– Define and implement a long-term roadmap for the infrastructure platform, aligning quarterly goals and sprint plans for consistent delivery.
– Enhance platform security and compliance through better access controls, logging, and governance.
– Collaborate with Finance, Product, and Engineering to forecast and manage infrastructure costs while maintaining performance and reliability.
– Maintain and upgrade CI/CD pipelines, promoting modern deployment practices like GitOps, automated rollbacks, and declarative configurations.
– Develop scalable, multi-account cloud infrastructure to support secure and isolated environments.
– Build and mentor a high-performing infrastructure/platform engineering team.
– Lead on-call incident response for infrastructure issues and conduct thorough postmortems.

Requirements:

– 8+ years in Infrastructure, Platform, or SRE engineering, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
– Track record of delivering widely adopted infrastructure solutions.
– Deep technical knowledge of cloud platforms (preferably AWS), Kubernetes, CI/CD, observability, IAM, and networking.
– Experience with roadmap development, cost management, and compliance/security standards.
– Strong collaboration skills to align with cross-functional teams and drive platform usage.
– Proven leadership in hiring, coaching, and developing engineering talent.
– Familiarity with observability tools like Datadog, CloudWatch, Grafana, or Sumo Logic.
– Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Ansible, and automation best practices.
