Gopuff is hiring Operations Associates (OAs) to join our operations team. Reporting directly to a Site Leader, OAs play a key role at Gopuff, requiring determination, resilience, a positive attitude, and a passion for tackling challenges. Responsibilities include picking and packing orders, receiving inventory at our site and kitchen (if applicable), and coordinating with delivery partners.

Responsibilities:

– Pick and pack customer orders for delivery
– Receive and unpack product shipments, verify inventory against purchase orders/invoices, and resolve any discrepancies
– Manage inventory and re-shelve items from canceled orders
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and facility
– Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures to reduce waste and spoilage
– Communicate with customers about substitutions or out-of-stock items
– Safely handle, scan, and move products
– Perform physical tasks such as standing, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending, reaching, and walking during shifts
– Use equipment like carts, pallet jacks, and dollies to transport products
– Handle items that may include tobacco, nicotine, or alcohol
– Work in freezer areas as needed during shifts
– Be able to walk up and down multiple flights of stairs throughout the day
– Prepare and serve quality food and beverages following recipes and presentation standards
– Ensure accuracy of all packaged food and drinks for delivery
– Adhere to health, safety, and sanitation standards
– Receive and store inventory, resolving issues with expiration dates or order discrepancies
– Keep the kitchen organized and efficient, minimizing waste through careful preparation and portioning
– Prepare, package, and stage orders for delivery

Qualifications:

– High school diploma or GED equivalent
– Previous experience in restaurant or retail settings is a plus, but not required
– Flexibility to work various shifts, including mornings, evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays
– Basic familiarity with web-based applications (e.g., Google G-Suite)
– Ability to stand and walk for the entirety of a shift
– Ability to lift up to 49 pounds
