What You’ll Be Doing:

– Installing, configuring, and upgrading Oracle databases
– Administering Oracle technologies including RAC, RMAN, Data Guard, GoldenGate, Exadata, WebLogic, and performance tuning
– Designing and implementing Oracle backup and recovery strategies
– Setting up Oracle replication, writing scripts, procedures, and functions
– Monitoring systems and scripting in Linux/Unix environments
– Managing projects and working directly with external clients
– Designing and administering IT solutions
– Recommending improvements to operational processes
– Managing backup and disaster recovery plans
– Delivering technical training to clients
– Participating in on-call rotations
– Communicating effectively with clients and team members
– Collaborating with remote teams
– Working overnight shifts to support the PST time zone

What We’re Looking For:

– At least 5 years of experience as an Oracle Database Administrator
– Proficiency in RAC, Exadata internals and administration, GoldenGate, OEM, RMAN, Data Guard, MAA, scripting, automation, performance tuning, and security (wallets/SSL)
– Familiarity with IT service standards like ITIL
– Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, IT, or equivalent experience
– Strong customer service skills and experience working with external clients
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Self-driven and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
– Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
– Highly organized and a strong team player
