Role Summary:
LifeStance Health is hiring a Registered Nurse to deliver ongoing patient care under the supervision of clinical leaders, including physicians. This role involves supporting individuals in a clinic setting as they navigate their mental health journey.

Pay Range: $32.25 – $37.50 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

– Manage daily clinical therapy and infusion operations under physician guidance.
– Foster a calm, professional, and welcoming environment.
– Welcome patients, record vitals, review medical history and medications, start IVs, and administer prescribed medications.
– Evaluate patient screening results and notify physicians of any concerns.
– Clearly explain therapy and infusion procedures to patients.
– Ensure all necessary documentation and consents are completed before treatment.
– Confirm medication dosages and patient identity prior to administration.
– Prepare infusion bags accurately and verify patient and dosage before mixing.
– Confirm patient identity at bedside before starting infusions.
– Set up IV pumps with correct rates and volumes.
– Monitor patients closely during their visit and treatment.
– Assess patients’ readiness for discharge and communicate concerns to physicians.
– Keep accurate clinical logs and prepare the clinic for the next shift.
– Review new patient intakes and collaborate with physicians.
– Maintain secure and organized patient records.
– Build strong, professional relationships with patients.
– Complete all documentation and charting in a timely manner.
– Organize and monitor medical supplies, including expiration dates and inventory levels.
– Adhere to DEA regulations for handling controlled substances.
– Maintain a clean and safe clinical environment.
– Ensure patient education materials are prepared and available.
– Assist with general nursing tasks as needed (e.g., patient intake, charting, medication refills, prior authorizations, phone calls, referrals).

Qualifications & Experience:

– Associate degree in nursing required; BSN preferred
– Minimum one year of clinical experience
– Active RN license in the State of California
– Current BLS certification
– Proficiency in Microsoft Office
– Experience with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR)
– Familiarity with Zulresso Infusion and/or Spravato Treatment preferred
– Strong multitasking and prioritization skills
– Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology
– Understanding of clinical documentation standards
– Basic lab procedure knowledge
– Familiarity with mental health disorders and treatment approaches
– Understanding of infection control and safety protocols
– Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
