⭐ Role Overview

We’re hiring a Payment Collections Specialist to join our Customer Success team in a fully remote role. This position plays a key role in boosting revenue by ensuring customer retention and managing collections efficiently.

As a Payment Collections Specialist, you’ll focus on retaining customers, handling collections, and supporting account upgrades. You’ll address customer concerns, offer customized retention solutions, and build strong relationships through proactive communication.

⭐ How You’ll Make an Impact

– Handle cancellation requests with a focus on retaining customers by understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
– Manage billing and collections by proactively reaching out to customers via phone, coordinating with internal teams, and improving processes.
– Identify opportunities to upsell and suggest relevant account upgrades.
– Support customers with billing questions and payment issues via phone, email, and chat.
– Most interactions will be over the phone, but you’ll also assist via email and chat.
– Work cross-functionally to report issues, recommend product enhancements, and contribute to key initiatives.
– Contact customers by phone and email to recover outstanding payments while maintaining a positive relationship.
– Record important activities and insights during the collection process and ensure timely follow-up.
– Use your negotiation skills to resolve customer concerns and find win-win solutions.
– Follow established procedures while using independent judgment to solve problems. Stay actively engaged with the team through chat and other communication channels.

⭐ What Makes You a Great Fit?

– At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
– Comfortable and confident speaking with customers over the phone.
– Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
– Experience in customer retention is preferred but not required.
– Sales experience is a bonus.
– Strong organizational and negotiation abilities.
