As a Senior Performance Tester, you will design, develop, and execute performance test plans to ensure our software systems are scalable, responsive, and reliable. You will work closely with stakeholders, development teams, and infrastructure teams to define performance requirements and understand testing data and environment needs. You will also run performance test scenarios, analyze results and metrics, and prepare detailed test reports.

Responsibilities:
• Conduct stress, load, regression, and performance testing to confirm applications and infrastructure are stable and production-ready.
• Model performance scenarios, perform preliminary analysis, and identify potential system or resource bottlenecks.
• Communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure testing requirements are captured in the test plan and that delivered solutions are consistent and complete.
• Design, develop, and carry out performance test plans across multiple projects by reviewing requirements, documenting findings, and working with team members to identify root causes.
• Analyze non-functional requirements and determine the best testing strategy or approach.
• Gather, analyze, and share performance testing results with cross-functional teams.
• Understand the technical features and functionality of Smile Digital Health products in depth to support testing and QA activities.
• Review performance test scripts for compliance with standards.
• Recommend improvements to enhance product performance and scalability.
• Design, build, and maintain performance testing frameworks.
• Use JMeter or similar tools to design and run load and performance tests for API and web applications.
• Create and execute daily load benchmarks and broader system-level tests.
• Ensure all working hours are accurately logged in Netsuite daily or weekly, with most (if not all) hours tracked as billable, and fully utilize Netsuite’s project management features.
• Track and report billable hours, a key component of project management and customer delivery.

Requirements:
• More than 5 years of experience in performance testing.
• Experience with service virtualization and tools for performance test data management.
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, and log tracing tools.
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server or Azure SQL.
• Strong technical documentation skills.
• Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies and experience with Agile projects.
• Experience with MS Azure or another major public cloud provider is strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of Kubernetes, Azure CLI, distributed JMeter execution, OAuth 2.0 API authorization, and Linux bash is highly preferred.
• A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
