About the Role:
The Pharmacy Member Specialist Supervisor is responsible for managing pharmacy benefit operations within member services. This includes ensuring timely and accurate resolution of issues for members, employers, and brokers. The role involves monitoring performance metrics, developing quality assurance systems, and launching new initiatives for members and providers. The supervisor also creates and maintains training programs and translates pharmacy program updates into efficient operational practices to ensure the best outcomes for members and health plans.

What You’ll Do:

– Manage pharmacy benefit operations within member services, ensuring efficient and accurate issue resolution for members, employers, and brokers.
– Monitor and analyze performance data related to member interactions and issue resolution.
– Report on key performance indicators focused on efficiency and member satisfaction.
– Lead the rollout of new member and provider initiatives, including cost-saving programs and prescription support.
– Educate members and providers about pharmacy programs and offer proactive support for prescription needs.
– Develop and implement a quality assurance strategy, including audits of documentation, communications, and call recordings. Monitor vendor service quality and manage performance scorecards.
– Create and maintain training materials and sessions to ensure internal teams understand pharmacy benefits, policies, procedures, and escalation processes.
– Act as a member advocate by evaluating upcoming pharmacy program changes and translating them into operational processes that improve outcomes.

What You Bring:

– 3+ years of experience in pharmacy operations, PBM, health plans, or member services.
– At least 2 years of leadership experience.
– In-depth knowledge of pharmacy benefit design and specialty drug programs.
– Strong collaboration and communication skills with both internal and external partners.
– Ability to create structure in fast-paced or rapidly growing environments.

The salary range for this role is $66,112 to $110,187 annually. Compensation is based on various factors, including education, experience, skills, and certifications.
