About the Position:
As a Podcast Subscriptions Support Specialist at Supporting Cast, you’ll assist a growing audience of premium podcast subscribers on behalf of top audio publishers such as NPR, SiriusXM, and NBC. This role is ideal for someone looking to enter the podcasting or tech industry. Supporting Cast is expanding rapidly and offers opportunities for career advancement.
You’ll work remotely alongside our lead support specialist to provide direct assistance to listeners subscribed to our clients’ paid podcasts. Whether it’s helping them log in, update payment details, or resolve app issues, you’ll offer prompt, clear, and friendly support.
Our publishing partners rely on us to deliver outstanding service to their most dedicated listeners. This means going beyond standard responses and thinking critically to solve problems. You’ll also collaborate with our success and engineering teams to report bugs, recommend improvements, and help build a scalable yet personal support experience.
We’re looking for someone who can commit to at least 30 hours per week, with some availability in the mornings (Eastern Time). This is a fully remote role. The pay ranges from $19 to $22 per hour, depending on experience, and includes eligibility for medical and dental benefits.
Responsibilities:
– Respond promptly to customer inquiries
– Investigate and replicate basic user issues to troubleshoot problems
– Track and communicate recurring issues to the appropriate teams
– Help create and maintain support documentation and knowledge base articles
– Develop automations to streamline support processes
Requirements:
– Creative problem-solving skills
– Ability to work independently and stay motivated
– Strong organizational and process-building abilities
– Effective prioritization of support requests
– Interest in learning and explaining new technologies
– Excellent written communication
– Previous help desk experience is a plus, but not required
– Familiarity with Freshdesk and podcast subscriptions is a bonus
Compensation:
$19–$22 per hour, based on experience. Includes eligibility for medical and dental benefits. This is a fully remote position.
