Where You Come In
We’re seeking a strategic, data-driven, and customer-centric Product Manager to lead innovation across our core platform.
This role spans multiple key areas within SugarCRM, contributing to platform-wide advancements.
As a cross-functional leader, you’ll work closely with Engineering, UX, Product Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and customers to define and deliver impactful features that enhance customer retention, drive growth, and ensure platform reliability.
This is a hybrid position based in Solihull, requiring at least three days per week in the office.
Your Impact
Strategic Roadmap Ownership & Execution
– Develop and manage the product roadmap for platform capabilities, aligning with SugarCRM’s strategic goals, customer needs, and business priorities.
– Promote roadmap transparency and alignment by clearly communicating priorities, progress, and trade-offs.
– Justify initiatives based on customer value, business impact, and technical feasibility.
Planning & Agile Execution
– Lead planning while executing, ensuring long-term vision aligns with short-term goals.
– Collaborate with Engineering and UX to define, scope, and prioritize features that balance innovation, customer needs, and scalability.
– Maintain a dynamic backlog of features, enhancements, and technical improvements.
– Oversee the full product development lifecycle—from discovery and validation to delivery and iteration.
– Drive agile processes to deliver high-quality features efficiently.
Customer & Data-Driven Decision Making
– Collect and analyze customer insights to ensure features solve real problems and deliver value.
– Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to guide prioritization and roadmap updates.
– Engage regularly with customers, partners, and internal teams to validate assumptions and refine the product.
Cross-Functional Leadership & Collaboration
– Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth execution and successful product adoption.
– Champion continuous process improvements to enhance team efficiency and collaboration.
What You’ll Bring
– 5+ years of product management experience, with a proven track record of launching successful B2B SaaS products.
– Experience with CRM platforms, customer engagement tools, or workflow automation.
– Strong grasp of product roadmapping, prioritization methods (e.g., RICE, MoSCoW), and agile practices.
– Ability to balance strategic vision with tactical execution.
– Familiarity with analytics and BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Sugar Discover is a plus.
– Solid technical knowledge, including APIs, integrations, and data models.
– Excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence without direct authority.
Preferred Qualifications
– Experience with CRM platforms.
– Background in data analytics, AI automation, or workflow orchestration.
– Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field—or equivalent experience.
Salary Range
£53,000 – £66,000 annually, depending on experience.
