About the Role
As a Senior Product Manager, you’ll be part of the Product Management team, reporting to the Director of Product Management. You’ll help shape Highspot’s product strategy with a focus on using generative AI to solve real-world customer challenges. Product Management at Highspot is a collaborative discipline, working closely with design, user research, and engineering to explore how GenAI can streamline workflows, automate tasks, and generate insights. Your deep knowledge of AI and your ability to turn that into practical solutions will be key to delivering value to customers. This role offers significant ownership, allowing you to define, validate, and launch innovative features. The ideal candidate is passionate about emerging technologies and combines customer empathy, technical curiosity, and strong product discipline. You excel in cross-functional environments, communicate complex ideas clearly, and are excited to bring cutting-edge AI to users in an intuitive way.
What You’ll Do
– Collaborate with customers and stakeholders to build a strategic roadmap, prioritize challenges, define product requirements, and manage the backlog from discovery through launch.
– Become an expert in Highspot’s software, customer needs, and market landscape to identify and execute both strategic and tactical initiatives.
– Work effectively with cross-functional teams—including executives, product marketing, and customer success—to align goals, gather input, and communicate plans.
– Gather and analyze feedback from users and internal teams to shape product features and outcomes.
– Dive into customer and usage data to uncover opportunities and measure product success.
– Partner with industry experts to stay ahead of trends and identify R&D opportunities that differentiate Highspot.
Your Background
– You have over 5 years of experience as a product manager in agile environments like Scrum or Kanban.
– You’ve worked on complex user scenarios involving multiple personas.
– You understand complex systems and collaborate with design teams to create intuitive user experiences.
– You’re detail-oriented and committed to refining the customer experience.
– You’re skilled at turning ideas and ambiguous data into defined outcomes and actionable roadmaps.
– You’ve developed strategic roadmaps using insights from user research, customer feedback, and business goals.
– You can clearly communicate strategy and plans to executives, teams, and customers.
– You’ve led cross-functional teams and worked closely with engineering to deliver high-quality products.
– You’re technically proficient and can engage with senior engineers on technical topics and trade-offs.
– You’re comfortable managing multiple projects and adapting priorities in a fast-paced, scaling environment.
– You’re an effective communicator and decision-maker.
– You have strong analytical skills in both quantitative and qualitative research.
– You’re willing to step outside your role when needed to support the team.
Preferred Qualifications
– Experience building tools for sales, marketing, or customer-facing teams.
– Background in B2B SaaS and understanding of SaaS business models.
– Experience developing products that use machine learning or generative AI.
– A technical degree or equivalent professional experience.
Compensation & Benefits
– Base salary range: $166,000 – $272,000
– Eligible for stock options and other forms of compensation
– Actual compensation depends on factors like location, experience, and qualifications
