Behaviour Interactive is currently seeking Programming Interns to join our diverse game development projects! As a Programming Intern, you’ll work alongside experienced developers and be mentored by a technical lead. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a real production environment, enhance your coding skills, and contribute to games loved by players worldwide.

Interview Process:
1. Complete a Codility test
2. 30-minute technical interview at the studio
3. Hiring decisions and offer presentation
Note: Project assignments will be determined after offers are accepted, so you won’t know which project you’ll be working on before accepting the internship.
To be considered for this internship, you must:
– Submit your resume and share your passion for video games
– Be available to work 37.5 hours per week for 4 months starting in January 2026
– Be eligible to work full-time in Canada (in Quebec or Ontario) at the time of your application

In this role, you will:
– Develop features for game projects or backend service teams
– Debug and resolve issues to improve code quality
– Work with game engines like Unreal Engine and/or Unity
You may also:
– Develop and enhance backend services such as player data management, connectivity, achievements, and leaderboards
– Contribute to core engine components like graphics, audio, networking, and tools
– Collaborate with designers, animators, artists, and other team members to integrate elements like animations, sound, and visual effects into the game
What we’re looking for:
– A strong passion for video games
– Solid knowledge of one or more programming languages: C++, C#, Node.js, JavaScript
– Prior experience with game engines such as Unreal Engine
– Bilingualism (French and English) is a strong asset
