This position is responsible for applying incoming payments in the business administration system across all lines of business.
Responsibilities:
• Review and post new business funds to dealer accounts across all business lines
• Upload ACH payments each day
• Investigate checks that lack supporting information or are not tied to a business record
• Prepare check requests for premium refunds mistakenly sent to Protective
• Provide phone support to external dealers and customers, as well as internal teams
• Respond promptly to emails in the team’s shared inbox
• Review Debit/Credit reports to confirm that cash received is properly processed
• Perform other assigned duties
Knowledge/Experience/Education/Training:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least one to two years of customer service experience
• Proficiency with AS400 administration systems and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Abilities:
• Must show strong teamwork skills
• Must be willing to collaborate effectively with others
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks and set priorities
Contact with others:
Must be able to communicate professionally with both internal and external customers.
Salary: $41,000–$47,667 per year
This is Protective’s target salary range for the role. Actual pay may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and experience. This range represents one part of the total compensation package. The role also includes opportunities for additional annual incentives based on individual and company performance.
