Client Support 1 team members play a key role in supporting the sales team by handling administrative tasks, enabling the sales team to focus on acquiring new business.
As the main point of contact for both internal and external inquiries, the Client Support team addresses rate discrepancies, statement questions, supply requests, reporting needs, and directs inquiries to the appropriate departments—ensuring prompt and thorough responses.
This team offers a great opportunity to understand our customers and their business operations and is essential to APD’s future growth.
Responsibilities:
– Respond to phone calls and emails regarding administrative matters on behalf of the sales team and customers.
– Manage supply orders, interpret statements, answer accounting questions, generate rate cards and reports, and find solutions for customers.
– Communicate professionally and courteously to ensure a smooth customer experience.
– Team members are expected to answer 80% of calls within 60 seconds and respond to emails within 3 hours. Everyone contributes to the team’s success.
Qualifications/Education:
– At least three years of experience in customer service or client relations, with a focus on building relationships.
– Strong technical skills.
– Preferred experience with financial and insurance products and services.
– Excellent problem-solving abilities.
– Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
– Effective time management and multitasking capabilities.
– Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
– Sound judgment.
Salary Range:
$42,500 – $59,500 per year
Protective’s target salary range for this role is between $42,500 and $59,500. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and experience. This range is part of a comprehensive compensation package.
This role also includes potential annual incentives based on individual and company performance.
