Color Health is a population health technology company that uses genetics, digital tools, and large-scale systems to help organizations and individuals make proactive, informed healthcare choices. We offer accessible, scalable solutions that deliver high-quality genetic counseling and testing to diverse communities across clinical areas such as hereditary cancer, cardiovascular disease, metabolic conditions, and pharmacogenomics.

To support our mission of increasing access to genetic services, Color is a key partner in the NIH All of Us Research Program—a landmark effort working to enroll one million or more participants to accelerate health research and improve individualized prevention, treatment, and care. Through this collaboration, Color Genetic Counselors provide counseling for participants who receive genomic results as part of this national precision medicine initiative.

We are seeking a Genetic Counselor with strong clinical genetics knowledge and excellent communication skills to assist All of Us participants. Responsibilities include providing counseling by phone, explaining test results and related risks, and offering guidance on medical management and follow-up. This role requires independent work, critical thinking, and teamwork in a remote, fast-moving environment, with a focus on high-quality, accessible, and innovative care.

How You’ll Contribute:
• Provide phone-based clinical genetic counseling for individuals receiving genomic screening results through the NIH All of Us Research Program.
• Address questions from patients, providers, and participants by phone and email, offering clear and empathetic support.
• Review and interpret clinical genetic test reports as needed.
• Help develop, assess, and improve Color’s genetic counseling workflows, documentation practices, and service processes.
• Work with internal teams to support large-scale genomics program implementation.
• Share ideas and advocate for process improvements to boost team efficiency, care quality, and scalability.

Required Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Genetic Counseling from an accredited program.
• Certification from the American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC).
• Licensed or eligible for licensure in your state of residence.
• Clinical genetic counseling experience in at least one area such as hereditary cancer, cardiovascular genetics, or pharmacogenomics.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience counseling on ACMG59 gene panel results.
• Experience providing genetic counseling through telehealth.
• Active licensure in multiple U.S. states, especially California.
• Experience working with diverse or underserved populations and a strong record of delivering excellent support to patients and providers.
