The HR Generalist works closely with their designated People Business Partner Pod, offering direct support and guidance to their assigned client groups. They respond to inquiries and coordinate efforts across the People, Payroll, and Employee Relations teams.
Primary Responsibilities:
– Partner with Senior People Business Partners to support all stages of the employee lifecycle for designated departments.
– Address general HR inquiries from employees, collaborating with relevant teams when needed.
– Provide coaching to managers to enhance employee engagement, development, and retention.
– Analyze data to identify workforce trends and recommend, implement, and manage related initiatives.
– Work with the People Team and department leaders to create career paths, assess development needs, and implement effective solutions.
– Oversee the offboarding and internal transfer processes to ensure a smooth employee experience.
– Manage offboarding procedures and resources for employees and managers; coordinate with Employee Relations for involuntary separations.
– Conduct exit interviews and provide quarterly reports on trends and recommended actions.
– Ensure accurate and timely communication of employment changes from managers to the People Operations team.
– Lead special projects related to the employee lifecycle, such as managing approvals for international remote work in compliance with company policies.
– Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
– At least 4 years of experience in HR generalist or people operations roles.
– Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a track record of innovative solutions.
– Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
– High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion.
– Proven ability to manage multiple complex tasks and prioritize effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Experience supporting employees in call center environments.
– Familiarity with non-exempt employee management, including labor laws, timekeeping, and scheduling.
– PHR or SHRM-CP certification.
– Background in the healthcare or technology sectors.
Physical Requirements:
– Must be able to sit for extended periods and work at a computer.
