Are you driven to deliver outstanding customer service and help people protect their homes and vehicles? We are seeking a Licensed Inside Sales Representative to join our team.
The starting base pay is $25 per hour, with an uncapped bonus plan in addition to your hourly rate. Average monthly bonus earnings are about $2,000, but they can vary and may reach $7,000 or more. Bonus potential is expected to grow as we expand into additional states.
In this role, you will work with warm leads to educate clients, provide quotes, and sell one or more insurance products. You will highlight the advantages of our offerings and address any concerns that may prevent a purchase.

You must currently hold an active Property and Casualty Producer’s License or a Personal Lines License to be considered.
Primary Responsibilities
• Quote and sell automobile, homeowners, and umbrella insurance.
• Follow up by phone or email to gather missing information and close sales.
• Participate in required and ongoing training, meetings, one-on-one sessions, and continuing education to maintain your license.
• Present the benefits of our products and overcome customer objections.
Required Skills and Knowledge
• Experience managing an organized and current pipeline of opportunities to deliver accurate quotes.
• Ability to prioritize sales prospects using multiple computer systems during the quoting process.
• Ability to clearly explain insurance concepts and coverage options to clients.
This is primarily a remote position, with about 80% of your time spent working from home near Denver, CO. Occasionally, you may be asked to come to the office for meetings, training, or team events.
Training lasts about two months, Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. local time. No time off is allowed during training.
After training, new hires will work evening shifts ending at 8:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and 5:00 p.m. on Saturdays, with a rotating Saturday schedule (one in every three). All new hires will work a nine-hour shift on Mondays and a seven-hour shift later in the week.
Licenses
• You must have an active Property and Casualty Insurance Producer’s License or Personal Lines License. After hire, American Family Insurance covers the cost of maintaining your license and continuing education.
Travel Requirements: Up to 10%
Physical Requirements: Primarily sitting or standing.
