Position Overview:

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a key role in generating new business opportunities by identifying and qualifying potential customers for the sales team. SDRs initiate conversations with prospects, understand their needs, and guide them through the early stages of the sales process. Acting as a link between marketing and sales, SDRs ensure a consistent pipeline of high-quality leads.

Key Responsibilities:

– Identify and research potential leads using online tools, social media, company websites, and industry events.
– Use various platforms to collect contact information for decision-makers at target companies.
– Reach out to prospects through calls, emails, and social media to establish initial contact.
– Create personalized and engaging messages to spark interest.
– Conduct discovery calls to understand the prospect’s challenges and needs.
– Qualify leads based on their fit for EasyPost’s solutions.
– Maintain ongoing communication with leads who are not yet ready to buy.
– Educate prospects on the benefits of EasyPost’s offerings and address any concerns.
– Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition of qualified leads.

Minimum Qualifications:

– High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED)
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with prospects across various channels
– Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities in prospecting
– Self-driven and goal-oriented with a desire to exceed targets
– Experience with CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot is a plus, but not required
– Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

Compensation:

$21 – $24 per hour

This range reflects base pay. Actual compensation may vary depending on experience, education, skills, location, and internal equity. Employees may also be eligible for on-target earnings (OTE) incentives.
