Key Responsibilities:
– Create and implement sales strategies to meet revenue goals
– Oversee the full sales process from lead generation to closing deals
– Conduct sales outreach and client meetings
– Identify and qualify new business opportunities; present and promote services to potential and existing clients
– Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction
– Collaborate with client engineers to fully understand project requirements and expectations
– Manage the RFQ process from initial bid to final negotiation and outcome
– Work closely with production and internal teams to meet delivery timelines and communicate updates to clients
– Coordinate with engineering, accounting, and other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience
– Track and evaluate sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and reporting results
– Seek out new business opportunities to grow market share
– Guide the marketing team in targeting key customer and product segments
– Develop and execute marketing strategies to boost brand visibility and generate leads
– Lead initiatives to enhance brand reputation in core markets
– Analyze local competitors to maintain a competitive edge
– Continuously assess performance metrics and suggest improvements
Required Qualifications & Skills:
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
– 5–7 years of proven sales success, ideally in manufacturing
– Strong ability to generate leads and manage a sales pipeline
– Track record of meeting sales goals aligned with company objectives
– Excellent negotiation and problem-solving skills
– Clear communicator with strong interpersonal skills
– Effective leader with a team-focused mindset
– Solid understanding of CNC machining and fabrication processes
– Familiarity with production parts markets and machine shop operations
– Self-motivated, ethical, and dependable
– Highly organized with strong time management and multitasking abilities
– Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
– Experienced with CRM platforms (HubSpot preferred) and data analysis tools
– Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
– Willingness to travel frequently (50% or more) for client visits, industry events, and other engagements
Compensation:
– Base salary: $40,000–$50,000 annually
– Commission opportunities available
– First-year total earnings (including commissions) estimated between $100,000 and $150,000
