Travel Expectations:
For Remote Roles: Occasional travel to our Mississauga and/or Salt Lake City offices will be required for events such as onboarding, team gatherings, and periodic meetings.
For Hybrid Roles: Candidates must live within commuting distance of the specified office location. Regular in-office participation—weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly—is expected as part of the role.
We are currently seeking a Senior Business Analyst with Salesforce certification and subject matter expertise to support strategic initiatives and strengthen relationships with our business partners.
As part of the Technical Delivery & Operations team, you will analyze and validate business needs, lead QA efforts, and design processes to enhance system performance and collaboration with stakeholders.
This role works closely with business SMEs, Product Owners, Business Solution Managers, Application Analysts and Engineers, Project Managers, and others to deliver impactful solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
– Gain a deep understanding of ongoing projects and the Salesforce roadmap.
– Build strong relationships with business stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
– Lead interviews, workshops, and collaborative sessions to gather requirements and identify process improvement opportunities.
– Document detailed business requirements, user personas, and future-state process flows using Agile and Design Thinking approaches.
– Partner with Business Systems Managers to align business goals with technology strategies, including data and integration needs.
– Identify process gaps and risks, and work with stakeholders to develop mitigation strategies.
– Create detailed business process maps and document changes.
– Translate business needs into user stories with clear functional and non-functional requirements.
– Identify dependencies and participate in grooming and planning sessions to ensure alignment with business priorities.
– Lead QA efforts from story creation to production deployment.
– Develop test scenarios, scripts, and plans that align with business needs and follow QA best practices.
– Use tools like Copado CRT to automate test case creation.
– Execute QA testing, log bugs, and manage the bug lifecycle.
– Coordinate UAT, ensuring SMEs are prepared and engaged in the testing process.
– Support training and enablement for end-users to ensure smooth adoption.
Required Experience:
– 5+ years as a Business Analyst, including 3+ years with Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, or Experience Cloud).
– Strong knowledge of QA processes and testing methodologies.
– Proven experience in business process analysis and leading stakeholder workshops.
– Experience gathering and analyzing requirements for Salesforce and integrated applications.
– Familiarity with project management and software development life cycles.
– Experience with conceptual modeling tools for process, data, and workflow.
– Ability to develop and deliver training materials and sessions.
– Experience working in DevOps and Agile environments.
– Skilled in writing test scripts, defining acceptance criteria, and validating systems.
– Salesforce Business Analyst certification required.
– Copado Robotic Testing certification is a plus.
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
– Adaptable, with a continuous learning mindset.
– Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
– Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
– Self-motivated and proactive.
– Team player with a collaborative mindset.
– Experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Lucidchart, and Smartsheet.
Generative AI Code Assistants: Familiarity with tools like GitHub Copilot and understanding of generative AI models is a plus.
