ICF’s Digital Modernization division is a fast-growing, innovative technology team looking for a Salesforce Developer to support federal client needs. This position is contingent upon contract award and can be performed remotely. The division delivers strategic IT and consulting services to both public and private sector clients, leveraging ICF’s expertise and flexibility to build and manage high-performance technology solutions.
Responsibilities:
– Design, develop, test, document, and deploy high-quality Salesforce solutions aligned with business needs and industry standards.
– Collaborate with team members to build Salesforce applications and resolve integration challenges.
– Evaluate and update Salesforce license usage and understand licensing models.
– Develop solutions for business processes including document generation, data management, and validation rules.
– Provide guidance to UI/UX designers on best practices for implementing client requirements.
– Mentor junior Salesforce developers through knowledge sharing and collaboration.
– Recommend and implement enhancements and new features in Salesforce; troubleshoot and resolve issues.
– Communicate with technical teams and stakeholders to share updates and solutions.
– Perform ongoing Salesforce administration tasks such as managing user accounts, fields, layouts, reports, and dashboards.
– Support hosted applications through monitoring, deployment assistance, and user support.
– Create Salesforce administrative tools, investigate integration issues, and resolve platform-related problems.
– Manage incident tickets and ensure timely resolution.
– Promote continuous improvement and document best practices and procedures.
– Monitor system usage for compliance and maintain data security.
Required Qualifications:
– Must be a U.S. resident and U.S. citizen (required for federal work).
– Must currently hold or be eligible for a DoD Secret Clearance.
– At least 5 years of Salesforce development experience, ideally in a government consulting setting.
– Minimum 3 years of experience leading technical teams of 5 or more developers.
– Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and application design.
– At least 3 years of experience combining business insight with analytical skills.
– In-depth knowledge of data structures and using Salesforce for complex processes and reporting.
– Proven experience in process analysis, requirement gathering, and digital application development.
– Experience with Salesforce configuration tasks such as workflows and automated approvals.
– Familiarity with database software and Platform-as-a-Service solutions.
– Experience with tools like JIRA/Confluence, GitHub, Bamboo/Jenkins.
– Knowledge of Agile methodologies and full software development lifecycle.
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
– Salesforce Administrator certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
– Salesforce Platform Developer I certification.
– Additional Salesforce certifications such as Platform App Developer or Advanced Developer.
– Experience with tools such as ELK Stack, Codescan, SIEM, GRC, Splunk, Copado, Provar, Eggplant, Commvault/Capstorm, Colibra, and cybersecurity tools.
– Excellent communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences in remote settings.
– Previous experience working with federal clients is a plus.

Pay Range:
Compensation is determined based on factors such as experience, skills, certifications, education, location, and contract-specific labor categories. The salary range for this full-time remote position is $98,124.00 to $166,810.00.
