The Role
Veeva Certifications verify the skills and expertise of administrators using our technology, services, and data products. Thousands of professionals across our customer, partner, and employee communities have earned credentials to gain practical skills, build confidence, and advance their careers. In this role, you will partner closely with the Senior Director of Certification to oversee the exam development lifecycle, support our expanding customer base, and create strategies to broaden our credential offerings and modernize how we evaluate skill and performance‑based competency.

The ideal candidate has experience building assessments for a contemporary enterprise SaaS credentialing program serving diverse learner personas. You understand the importance of assessments that are fair, reliable, and relevant. You are experienced in exam development and publishing processes and can drive go‑to‑market activities for high‑volume certification programs. You will collaborate with curriculum developers to align job‑task analyses and learner personas across course and exam development. A creative, entrepreneurial mindset and enthusiasm for innovating new approaches are essential.

You should be comfortable working independently and with SMEs and stakeholders, and eager to develop deep subject‑matter expertise. Our team operates as collaborative owners and builders, and we expect this role to embody our core values.

What You’ll Do
– Shape Veeva’s credentialing program by leading exam development and ensuring alignment with industry‑recognized legal defensibility standards
– Drive growth and efficiency in the certification program through continuous process improvements
– Partner with instructional designers and SMEs to create new badges and certifications, including job‑task analysis, exam blueprints, and item‑writing workshops
– Work cross‑functionally to validate exam objectives, ensure technical accuracy, manage feedback, and publish approved exams
– Perform routine exam and item analyses to evaluate exam quality and recommend updates
– Communicate program results and insights to cross‑functional partners
– Support customers by developing program messaging, guides, sample items, FAQs, and website content; collaborate with operations on certification inquiries
– Manage vendors supporting test development, delivery, psychometrics, and badging
– Lead projects with accuracy, transparency, and on‑time delivery
– Build working knowledge of Veeva products and underlying technologies to engage effectively with product experts

Requirements
– Proven experience creating and managing innovative credentialing programs
– 5+ years in customer‑facing enterprise curriculum or certification programs (SaaS preferred)
– Familiarity with digital credentialing tools such as Credily, Accredible, LXPs, or LMS platforms
– Experience with high‑stakes exam development and delivery, including vendor and methodology knowledge
– Strong track record of delivering high‑quality projects on schedule
– Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build productive relationships
– Demonstrated adaptability and willingness to take on new challenges
– Bachelor’s degree or equivalent

Nice to Have
– Master’s degree in Instructional Design or related field
– Credentials in test development or psychometrics
– Experience in life sciences, including pharma, biotech, medical devices, or clinical research

Compensation
– Base salary: $105,000–$165,000
– Actual compensation may vary based on experience, location, and expected contributions. Additional variable or stock‑based compensation may apply.
