HQ: Hybrid

  • OFF: Remote - United States
  • Full-Time
  • Management and Finance

Deputy is a global, remote-first SaaS company specializing in workforce management, with offices in Sydney, Melbourne, San Francisco, and London, and remote team members across the U.S. Our platform supports over 1.5 million workers and 375,000 businesses in more than 100 countries. Backed by leading global investors, we’ve recently reached Unicorn status.

At Deputy, we’re on a mission to improve the working lives of hourly employees—who make up 80% of the global workforce. These essential workers, from baristas and nurses to delivery drivers and factory staff, often lack access to modern workplace technology. We’re changing that by empowering frontline teams. With Deputy, businesses become more efficient, compliant, and profitable, while employees are more engaged and satisfied.

If you’re driven to create people-centric solutions that help businesses and their teams succeed, join us and make a meaningful impact.

We’re looking for a Senior or Lead People Partner to support our GTM (Sales, Marketing, Customer Success) teams across the U.S. and U.K. In this role, you’ll be a trusted advisor to leaders and managers, helping implement key People initiatives, drive performance and engagement, and shape the employee experience for some of our most dynamic teams.

You’ll collaborate across People Ops, Talent, and Compensation & Benefits to foster a high-performance, inclusive, and people-first culture.

Key Responsibilities:

– Partner strategically with the Chief Commercial Officer and GTM leaders in the U.S. and U.K. on organizational health, performance, development, and engagement.
– Guide managers in applying performance frameworks like RAD and Radical Candor to build accountability and develop talent.
– Lead initiatives such as engagement action plans, organizational design, internal mobility, and succession planning.
– Provide day-to-day HR support including coaching, employee relations, performance management, and policy advice.
– Work with People team peers to roll out and embed key programs in your region or function.
– Oversee employee lifecycle initiatives—from onboarding to offboarding—ensuring alignment with company values and goals.
– Use people data to identify trends and recommend improvements in team performance and engagement.
– Support leadership with organizational planning, change management, and team effectiveness.
– Promote inclusion, trust, and belonging through thoughtful program delivery and leadership.

Qualifications:

– 5–8 years of experience as an HR or People Partner in a fast-paced, high-growth environment (ideally in SaaS or tech).
– Proven experience supporting GTM/commercial teams.
– Strong coaching skills and ability to manage complex people challenges and organizational change.
– Comfortable giving and receiving direct, empathetic feedback and handling sensitive matters with discretion.
– Solid understanding of U.S. employment law; experience in the U.K. is a bonus.
– Excellent communicator who can influence at all levels and thrive in a global, collaborative environment.
– Familiarity with modern HR tools (Rippling, Lattice, Lever preferred).
– A people-first approach combined with strong business insight and curiosity.

Salary Range: $93,600 – $162,000 per year

Employee Benefits:

– Equity through company share options
– 401(k) plan with company match
– Comprehensive health insurance
– Commuter benefits
– Flexible remote-first work policy
– Company-wide learning and coaching programs

Deputy is committed to equal opportunity and believes that diversity and inclusion drive innovation. Our global team brings together a wide range of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills—and we welcome yours.
