We’re seeking a Software Engineer to join our Connectivity team. In this role, you’ll be part of a cross-functional engineering group focused on enabling seamless integration between our customers’ varied technical environments and the Logz.io platform. You’ll develop and maintain key tools and services that connect customer systems to our backend, making it easy for them to send observability data.
Responsibilities:
– Design, develop, and improve core integrations and tools that allow customers to send observability data to Logz.io.
– Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and other teams to build scalable solutions capable of handling over a billion events daily.
– Ensure code quality and reliability through thorough testing (unit, integration, end-to-end) and clear documentation for both engineers and customers.
– Work with customer-facing teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to data ingestion integrations and libraries.
– Develop and maintain over 300 core integrations, primarily using Python and Go, that run in cloud and containerized environments, contributing to the open-source community.

Requirements:
– BA/BSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience.
– 2+ years of professional software development experience, with strong skills in Python or Go. Experience with other modern languages (e.g., Java, Node.js, C#, .NET) is a plus.
– Quick learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies.
– Capable of multitasking and managing context switches effectively.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Copilot, Cursor, Bedrock, Gemini).
– Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
– Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
– Familiarity with infrastructure and CI/CD tools (Terraform, GitHub Actions, ArgoCD).
– A collaborative team player who can also work independently and take initiative.
– Excellent communication skills, able to explain technical concepts clearly to various audiences.
– Full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).
– Bonus: Experience contributing to or maintaining open-source libraries.
