About the Role
We’re hiring Software Engineering Interns with a minimum of 8 months of experience to join our engineering team. It’s an exciting and technically complex time as we focus on three main areas: travel, fintech, and a superapp membership that brings them together, along with other savings and earnings features. Our systems handle thousands of requests per second, process over 1TB of data daily, and manage more than $1 million in daily sales—all while maintaining over 99.9% uptime.

What You’ll Work On

– Deliver technically complex projects from start to finish in a fast-paced, iterative environment
– Make a meaningful impact on business metrics and user experience
– Take ownership of features, services, caches, and databases, including deployment, monitoring, debugging, and testing
– Write production-ready, well-tested code within your first week
– Use data to guide decisions and run experiments on nearly everything you launch
– Work across both frontend and backend systems and multiple codebases

Our Tech Stack

– We use a modern microservices architecture primarily built with Python (FastAPI), React with TypeScript on the frontend, and Postgres/Redis for storage and caching
– Gitlab is used for version control and CI/CD, and our infrastructure is hosted on AWS using Kubernetes—code reaches production in under 30 minutes
– We prioritize monitoring and automated alerts with Datadog
– We use Amplitude for client-side metrics and experimentation, and Snowflake as our data warehouse

About You

– You have at least 8 months of experience in web development, ideally in a startup or fast-paced environment
– You’ve worked with modern JavaScript frameworks (like React, Vue, or Angular) and web servers
– You’re a fast learner, regardless of the technology stack
– You’ve taken ownership of and delivered complete features
– You enjoy solving complex problems with logical, well-thought-out solutions
– You’re interested in working across both frontend and backend
– You’re excited to work with React and Python

Compensation
$34.50 – $40 per hour, based on the number of completed internships or work terms, in line with our intern pay structure.
