Travel Expectations:
For Remote Roles: Occasional travel to our Mississauga and/or Salt Lake City offices is required for events such as onboarding, team gatherings, and semi-annual or annual meetings.
For Hybrid Roles: Candidates must live within commuting distance of the specified office location. Regular in-office participation—weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly—is expected as part of the role.
The Vice President, Solution Design & Strategy is a senior leadership role responsible for driving strategic vision, operational excellence, and revenue growth across PointClickCare’s Acute & Payer and Senior Care segments. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, this role connects Sales, Product, State Directors, Professional Services, Customer Success, and other key teams to ensure our Clinical and Technical Solutions teams deliver impactful, scalable strategies aligned with customer needs and market trends.
This leader will manage a team of clinical and technical professionals, guiding them to develop and deliver solutions that enhance customer experience, accelerate sales, and increase adoption across government, health systems, ACOs, health plans, and senior care providers. The VP will be responsible for strategic planning, financial performance, talent development, and cross-functional innovation to support PointClickCare’s continued growth in healthcare technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Delivery Excellence
– Develop and implement short- and long-term strategies for Clinical and Technical Solutions in Acute & Payer and Senior Care markets.
– Represent the company externally through conferences, product planning, and customer engagement.
– Advise executive stakeholders by translating customer needs into actionable strategies.
– Support the sales cycle with solutions expertise across all markets.
– Drive innovation by aligning customer feedback, market trends, and product capabilities.
– Lead initiatives to improve the customer journey and engagement across business lines.
P&L Management & Financial Accountability
– Manage departmental goals and metrics related to revenue, pipeline, win rates, and adoption.
– Collaborate with Sales Leadership to identify new market opportunities and expand into new regions.
– Oversee budgeting, resource planning, and financial performance for a team of 40+.
– Ensure solution design aligns with broader business goals and contributes to revenue growth.
Talent Strategy & Organizational Leadership
– Build and lead a high-performing team of clinical and technical professionals.
– Develop talent strategies for future needs, succession planning, and growth.
– Promote collaboration and diversity across distributed teams.
– Foster a culture aligned with PointClickCare’s values.
Operational Excellence & Performance Optimization
– Define best practices and processes to scale solutions across all markets.
– Lead continuous improvement efforts to enhance sales velocity, customer satisfaction, and delivery quality.
– Implement scalable frameworks for solution design, demos, RFPs, and onboarding.
– Use data and analytics to guide decisions and improve performance.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Innovation
– Act as the central link between Sales, Product, State Directors, Customer Success, and Professional Services.
– Work with Product teams to shape roadmaps based on clinical value and customer input.
– Resolve complex customer challenges through collaboration.
– Lead cross-functional initiatives that drive innovation and support growth in Acute & Payer and Senior Care.
Qualifications & Skills:
– Strong business acumen across Security, Sales, Delivery, and Customer Success.
– Experience leading geographically dispersed clinical and technical teams.
– Deep understanding of the SaaS customer lifecycle.
– Ability to build strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.

Salary Range: $255,000 – $283,000 per year
At PointClickCare, base salary is just one part of our total rewards package. This U.S. salary range includes base pay, bonus or commission, equity, and benefits. Actual compensation is based on skills, experience, and location. Your recruiter will provide more details during the hiring process.
