As a Spanish Translation Curriculum Writer, you will be instrumental in creating educational resources that support meaningful learning for Spanish-speaking students. Your responsibilities will include translating, adapting, and developing curriculum content in Spanish, ensuring it is accurate, culturally appropriate, and aligned with educational standards. You will work closely with subject matter experts, educators, and other stakeholders to produce high-quality Spanish-language instructional materials.

Responsibilities

– Translate educational materials from English to Spanish with accuracy and clarity.
– Adapt content to ensure it is culturally relevant and appropriate for Spanish-speaking learners.
– Collaborate with curriculum teams to develop original Spanish-language educational resources.
– Ensure all content aligns with applicable educational standards and learning goals.
– Review translated and adapted materials for linguistic accuracy, consistency, and educational effectiveness.
– Stay informed about trends in education, language use, and curriculum development in Spanish-speaking areas.
– Work with subject matter experts, educators, and designers to incorporate feedback and improve content.
– Manage timelines effectively and communicate any issues that may affect project delivery.
– Maintain clear records of translation and adaptation processes for consistency and future use.
– Participate in professional development to enhance language skills, teaching knowledge, and curriculum writing expertise.

Qualifications

– Bachelor’s degree in Spanish, Education, Curriculum Development, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
– Native or near-native fluency in Spanish with a strong grasp of cultural nuances.
– Experience translating and adapting educational content, ideally within curriculum development.
– Knowledge of educational standards and learning objectives relevant to Spanish-speaking regions.
– Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
– Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality materials.
– Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation
Compensation is based on location, experience, seniority, and demonstrated skills during the interview process.
