We are hiring a full-time, permanent Logistics Specialist to join our team in Amsterdam.
Your Responsibilities
– Manage just-in-time logistics for materials and equipment across suppliers, manufacturing sites, and project locations
– Plan, execute, and track shipments to meet delivery timelines and financial targets
– Coordinate customs clearance with all involved parties
– Use planning and forecasting tools to streamline logistics and communicate with logistics service providers
– Serve as a regional expert on logistics best practices, collaborating with other Fluence teams
– Work cross-functionally with Supply Chain Operations, Procurement, Project Management, Sales, Finance, and others to support Fluence’s strategic goals and deliver strong customer outcomes
– Lead and support cost-reduction and logistics process improvement initiatives
– Handle logistics for shipping hazardous materials, ensuring safety and quality with carriers and freight forwarders
– Support the regional warehousing strategy
Your Qualifications
– Over 5 years of experience in project logistics
– Knowledge and experience in handling and shipping hazardous materials
– Familiarity with logistics operations in the EMEA region
– Self-driven and capable of working independently while also collaborating effectively with others
– Comfortable navigating volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity
– Thrive in a fast-paced, international, and dynamic work environment
– Fluent in English
