WHAT YOU’LL DO AT H1

As a Staff Accountant, you’ll manage H1’s accounts payable processes, including corporate card expenses and employee reimbursements. You’ll also handle general ledger responsibilities such as fixed assets, prepaid expenses, and other key financial areas. This role involves close collaboration with teams across the company to enhance reporting, data accuracy, and analysis, with direct access to the CFO and other senior leaders.

Responsibilities include:
– Assisting with the month-end close process, including journal entries and reconciliations for cash, accounts payable, fixed assets, and prepaid expenses
– Providing month-end commentary and variance analysis to inform leadership
– Helping implement new financial systems and tools
– Supporting internal and external audits
– Participating in special projects and initiatives as needed

REQUIREMENTS

– Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
– Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or finance
– Strong analytical skills and knowledge of US GAAP
– Proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems like Intacct or NetSuite is a plus
– Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
– Excellent written and verbal communication skills
– Self-motivated and able to work independently or collaboratively

COMPENSATION

This position offers a salary between $70,000 and $85,000 annually, depending on experience, plus stock options.
