The Forklift Operator is responsible for a variety of warehouse tasks in a fast‑paced, lean environment. Duties include receiving and storing incoming materials, picking and shipping products to support Plant operations, maintaining accurate inventory, monitoring cooler and freezer temperatures, and keeping the warehouse organized. Experience with stand‑up forklifts and RF scan guns is required.

Shift Schedule: Monday–Thursday
Shift Hours: 6:00 AM–4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Sorting, handling, loading, and unloading both palletized and non‑palletized freight using motorized and manual equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and manual lifting
• Operating a stand‑up forklift
• Using handheld mobile devices to track shipments
• Safely entering and exiting trailers
• Lifting items of various sizes and weights, up to 50 pounds frequently
• Securing freight within trailers with appropriate materials such as pallets, straps, or rope
• Standing and walking for long periods on loading docks that may be icy or below freezing
• Reaching, bending, climbing, pushing, pulling, twisting, squatting, and kneeling as needed
• Completing necessary documentation and reports
• Following company safety procedures
• Working closely with team members and supervisors in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment
• Working safely in cold conditions

Required skills and experience:
• 2–4 years of forklift experience
• Experience operating a stand‑up forklift
• Minimum age of 18
• Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently
• Basic math skills

Preferred skills and experience:
• High school diploma or GED

Physical requirements:
• Frequent use of hands to handle or operate tools and equipment, with regular reaching
• Frequent standing, communication, and listening
• Occasional walking, stooping, kneeling, or crouching
• Occasional lifting or moving of up to 50 pounds
• Adequate visual ability including peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
• Ability to perform repetitive motions
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, both hot and cold
