The Strategic Partnerships team at OpenX oversees all key relationships within the OpenX Ad Exchange. The Account Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring client satisfaction and long-term success with our products. Reporting to the Account Director of Strategic Partnerships, the Account Manager collaborates closely with the team to deliver top-tier service to our strategic partners.
We’re seeking a motivated, results-oriented professional to support and grow strategic partnerships across North America, EMEA, and APAC. This role involves assisting with both pre- and post-sales activities, monitoring key accounts, and working with internal teams (Finance, Support, Marketplace Quality, Buyer Development, and Supply) to address partner needs.
Responsibilities
– Collaborate with Account Directors/Managers to strengthen relationships with strategic partners using OpenX products
– Lead onboarding for new partners, leveraging in-depth knowledge of OpenX to streamline the process
– Support existing partners in areas such as reporting, deal creation, troubleshooting, and support, while coordinating cross-functional solutions
– Prepare on-demand, quarterly, and annual business reviews, including data analysis and presentation development
– Maintain and update documentation related to OpenX offerings for strategic partners
– Identify issues and update training materials for partners
– Handle project-based assignments as needed
Required Skills & Qualifications
– 3–5 years of experience in digital advertising operations, publisher monetization, yield management, or ad tech sales/services
– Strong relationship management and experience leading cross-functional teams toward business goals
– Solid understanding of online advertising, campaign objectives, and programmatic/RTB ecosystems
– Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines consistently
– Self-starter with strong attention to detail and a drive for innovation and problem-solving
– Performance-driven with a knack for identifying new business opportunities and process improvements
– Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of simplifying complex technology
– Effective at engaging with stakeholders at all levels within both partner organizations and OpenX
– Strong analytical skills and business insight
– Proficient in PowerPoint and Excel
Desired Skills & Qualifications
– Understanding of OpenX’s business model and market position
– Experience in ad tech, programmatic advertising, or related digital media fields
– Familiarity with Google Suite and tools like Salesforce, Jira, or other CRM/ticketing systems
– Customer-first mindset with a commitment to exceptional service
Compensation
$75,000 – $88,000 annually
In accordance with local laws and regulations, we consider all qualified applicants, including those with arrest or conviction records, for employment. OpenX is dedicated to fair and equitable compensation. In addition to the base salary, compensation includes bonuses, equity, and benefits. Salary is based on factors such as experience, skills, and certifications.
